Aa-chan Is Demento

Well not really in this episode. This is actually one of my more subdued shows. I do talk about this older game called Demento (Haunting Ground for those in North America). Its an ok Survival Horror game. I also come to terms with both Metal Gear and Resident Evil. Sometimes you have to go home to remember why you loved home to start with. Enjoy!

So this show is completely limited in terms of topics. I start off discussing how disappointed in Golden Axe Beast Rider I am. The reviews for that game have been really less then steller from what I hear. Then I talk about a new game I just discovered and saw the opening movie sequence to, called Left 4 Dead (If you go to the Left 4 Dead website check out the Dude where's my thumb contest. That had me crying laughing yesterday); which I would love to get into, but it's an Xbox game and we all know how I feel about that (And if you don't you'll find out on this episode). And lastly I talk about MGS4 yet again. After watching hentai for a few hours I decided to take another look at MGS4... And it just never gets any better does it?! Enjoy.

The Fandomless Fangirl

Sigh... This was a day I never thought would come. The day that I realize that I am a fandomless fangirl. Everything I love has been demolished. I'm on the outs with Metal Gear. Me and Resident Evil, while we were always teetering, that's now done. Even Lolita, thanks to the economic crisis, that's being taken away from me too. What's a (deranged) fangirl to do? A podcast of course! Enjoy! P.S. Oh yeah one more thing. I get into spoiler town when I talk about Metal Gear Solid 4. Sleepy And Ranting...

This show is a prime example of why you should always get more then 3 and a half hours of sleep a night. But considering how sleepy I am, its actually one of my better shows. I begin about why I didn't sleep well last night and then go into my weekend of ranting. My fight to prove how wonderful Bayonetta will be to some random gamer boy. Yet another Resident Evil 5 rant. And finally a rant about the upcoming expansion pack for Metal Gear Online... Sigh... I would say something, but I think I sum it up much better on the show! Enjoy!

Silent Ill

Its been awhile since the last time I was sick, but yes once again I have a cold (Thus tonight's title silent ill). But it's also my Silent Hill: Homecoming discussion. It came out last week, but already I've seen all the entire game including all the endings. This is my semi-review of SH: Homecoming. Also Tokyo Game Show is coming this week as is Anime USA. So I talk briefly about that too. Enjoy, while I cuddle up with a bottle of cold medicine.

Love And Hate

So this episode starts off talking about my love for an old anime called Shojou Kakumei Utena (Revolutionary Girl Utena for all of those in the US). Then I go into which anime box-sets I need to buy some time in the future and talk about my disgust for ADV and their need to constantly redub there millionth addition re-release of Neon Genesis. And lastly I talk about my most pure love hate relationship... It's an on-going battle between loving and hating Resident Evil 5. Enjoy! P.S. No Love For Anyone!

So what started out as a show about me and my avid hatred of spiders, turned into me complaining about how obscure NES games (like Little Nemo) get absolutely no love and will probably never go on the Virtual Console (Thanks Nintendo). Then I go on to talk about what I read in the PlayStation Mag. They have a big article about Heavy Rain. Finally, this may be PS3's redeeming quality, cause right now, no one seems terribly impressed with PS3. Enjoy!

The Horrific World of Silent Hill

To start off tonight's show I talk about my disgust with Metal Gear Online, but then it quickly take a turn for the worst as I delve into Silent Hill survival horror land. I guess I'm just a glutton for punishment. As much as I know I shouldn't go 10 feet near a Silent Hill game, I had to go there. I just had to sit and watch, of all the Silent Hill games, that damn 2nd one. That I do believe is probably the most scary of all the SH games. When will I ever learn to stop watching survival horror games? When I tells ya?! Enjoy while I take a Maglight flashlight everywhere I go. Even in broad daylight. P.S. Don't forget to listen to the supplemental episode that follows this episode.

I haven't been on a rant like this in awhile. In my travels over the extended Laborious Day weekend I discovered people talking about there being a Metal Gear Solid 5. Huh?! Are you people f'ing insane?! After hearing that, the ranting began. Then I talk about Resident Evil Degeneration and going back home to Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Oh classic games are great aren't they?! But my delight is short lived when I start up on Castlevania and Konami's lack of bringing out a 20th Anniversary addition for that (yet there was one for Metal Gear?)! Enjoy the ranting (I am in rare form this show!)!

The I Can't Believe It Episode!

I can't believe I nearly missed the Leizpeg Game Convention. I can't believe how amazing the game Heavy Rain looks! I can't believe how violent and fun MadWorld looks! I can't believe they moved Tokyo Game Show to October (What the fu*k?!) and I can't believe how funny watching the gameplay demo of RE5 was. Neither will you! Enjoy!

Oh yes! Seeds (Studio) has been planted and from those initial seeds has sprung forth Platinum Games Inc. And what Shinji Mikami and our other Platinum Games Inc. friends bringing out. Did someone say Bayonetta?! Anyone up for shooting baddies with a boot gun?! I also talk about my theory on how the Tyrant Virus spread throughout the Spencer Mansion and I also discuss some trashy manga I picked up at this past Blotakon! Oh yes and a new TSA rant, because I'll be off to Jacksonville this coming Monday (thus is why you're getting next week's show tonight) and I won't be back until the end of next week August 21st. So I'm continuing my rant from last week about Umbrella Chronicles. Upon doing a deeper investigation of Umbrella Chronicles, I realized just how terrible they made the plot of Resident Evil. Oh it was horrible and I just don't even know what's going happen to that series now... I also talk a little bit about Seeds Studio and Shinji Mikami (Father of the Survival Horror genera and Founder of Seeds Studio). Then I go on one of my many Metal Gear rants and just to make this episode extra special fangirl-tacular, I start talking about how good Solid Snake looks... By the way, this episode marks my big 40th episode! *Cheers and throws confetti* Enjoy everyone!
