Melchior is the name of my new computer. So since it is a new computer I am still getting adjusted to it. But it still doesn't stop me from ranting about Metal Gear. Or talking about the new Silent Hill game.

Sorry people. Due to a technical difficulty (That being that Teveru, my computer, died this week and I am currently relegated to using my school's library for computer time), Deranged Fangirl Live is canceled for this week. However, thanks to my dear fiancee, I will be getting a new computer on Friday and I should be resuming podcasts again next Monday. Until then please catch up on some back episodes!

So I went to Anime Next this past weekend. And while it wasn't as glorious as other conventions I've been too. The game room more than made up for it. Warning this isn't one of my more entertaining moments, but hey, I am two days late in posting, so that just shows were my mentality is this week.

Let me begin by apologizing about last weeks' episode. I'm sorry it was so ear bleadingly loud. For some reason my Audacity has been giving me problems (this has been going on for a while now, but now its the sound being affected). I did what I could to cut down the sound this week, I do apologize for the quality in advance though.

As for the episode itself. Well its my post E3 2009 show. And it's mostly about the Sony press conference, which wasn't too awful. Then I go into my new arch nemesis Metal Gear Solid: Rising (eye roll) and how I could throttle Hideo Kojima for this! And of course I talk about Bayonetta and the new Castlevania!

This is a very short episode. Mainly due to a recent tragic event at home. However that didn't stop me from talking about Metal Gear Rising. I really wish Hideo Kojima would stop at this point.

Well not really. More like the me trying to do 90 things at once episode. But in this episode I discuss the new Punch Out, Bayonetta, Uncharted 2, Next (aka what I saw on the Metal Gear website), and some wacky WiiWare game called Muscle March (note this weeks picture)... Yeah I know. Three weeks titles that sound more like porn then they do episodes... But this week it was a necessity because I'm talking about that game Wet. And why is it called Wet anyway?! That's just trashy! But anyway, I'm talking about Wet, Prototype, inFamous, and some Wii game I played a little bit of called Pikmin... Oh Nintendo... When will you ever stop playing it safe.

Ugh, this is the second week in a row where it sounds like I'm talking about porn. Remember last week's title (Bustin' Make Me Feel Good!)? Oh well... For as much as I like porn, I'm actually talking about the new Dead to Rights game and a few other things. Metal Gear Solid 5 got slid into the discussion, so does Castlevania... All this is in anticipation for E3 next month. Let's hope for some good trailers!

You'll understand the title when you get to the portion of the show where I talk about either the Castlevania fighting game being a 6 or the new Golden Axe... In either case something was only a 6 and this show is included in that.

I have the nerve to come in a day late and a dollar short, totally blowing off my show so I can be with Jose and then when I do get off my duff, I come back with a sorry excuse for a show. Tsk, tsk, that's no way to treat your loyal fanbase (of like 2 or 3 people).

Tonight's show is a mixed bag of stuff. I start off talking about my search for tonight's theme song, then I move in to talking about Silent Hill 4. Next topic is Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop... *Insert eye roll for Crapcom...* And lastly I talk about this year's impending Christmas Buy-me-that season, which spins into another PlayStation 3 rant.

So I'm continuing my rant from last week about Umbrella Chronicles. Upon doing a deeper investigation of Umbrella Chronicles, I realized just how terrible they made the plot of Resident Evil. Oh it was horrible and I just don't even know what's going happen to that series now... I also talk a little bit about Seeds Studio and Shinji Mikami (Father of the Survival Horror genera and Founder of Seeds Studio). Then I go on one of my many Metal Gear rants and just to make this episode extra special fangirl-tacular, I start talking about how good Solid Snake looks... By the way, this episode marks my big 40th episode!
